Caddy ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit meetcaddy.com, purchase Caddy, or work with us through an ACE engagement. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described below.
01Information We Collect
- The information you enter in our website forms (our ACE intake and warm intro forms, and the questions on our call booking pages), or that you send us by email. Depending on the form, this can include your name, email address, phone number, company name, your role, company size, industry, the business areas you want help with, your timeline, and your investment readiness.
- Name, billing address, and payment information, collected by our payment processor at checkout. We do not see your full payment card details.
- GitHub username, collected at checkout for Caddy install purchases to grant access to the Caddy repository.
- Any information you choose to include in correspondence with our support address.
- Standard web log information, including browser type, IP address, and pages visited, collected by our hosting provider for security and performance purposes.
- Usage data from analytics providers (Vercel Speed Insights and Google Analytics 4), which we review only in aggregate to understand traffic patterns and site performance. We do not use this data to build behavioral profiles or for advertising retargeting.
- Marketing attribution parameters from URLs (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, etc.) and HTTP referrer, used to understand which channels drive interest in Caddy.
02How We Use Your Information
- To deliver Caddy and grant access to the product repository.
- To scope and deliver ACE engagements, including preparing for and following up on your calls.
- To respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
- To process payments and issue receipts.
- To send transactional emails related to your purchase or subscription.
- To improve our website and services.
We do not sell your personal information.
03Sharing Your Information
We share your information only with the third-party services required to operate our business:
- Platinum Payment Solutions for payment processing.
- GitHub for repository access.
- Anthropic, the AI provider underlying Caddy. For the Caddy install, data reaches Anthropic when you actively use the product on your machine. For ACE engagements, the systems we build run on your own Anthropic Enterprise or Teams plan, under your agreement with Anthropic.
- Vercel for website hosting and Core Web Vitals (Speed Insights).
- Google Analytics 4 for aggregated traffic and conversion analytics.
- Resend for transactional email delivery (lead notifications, customer support replies).
- HighLevel (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector), our customer relationship management (CRM) platform, which receives and stores the contact and form information you submit so our team can reach out and help you. HighLevel also provides the chat widget on our site (see Cookies below).
- Google Workspace for email correspondence.
- Fathom for recording and transcribing scheduled video calls (such as discovery and architecture calls) and generating meeting notes. Recording is disclosed in the meeting when it is on.
- Trustpilot for collecting and displaying customer reviews.
Each of these services maintains its own privacy practices and security measures.
04The Caddy Product and Your Data
Once installed on your machine, Caddy stores your work, contacts, voice profile, and conversations locally on your computer. We do not have access to or visibility into the contents of your installation.
For ACE engagements, the systems we build are deployed at the admin level of your own Anthropic Enterprise or Teams plan and run in your own accounts and infrastructure. We do not host your business data. Any access we are granted during an engagement is governed by your engagement agreement and any confidentiality or data processing terms in place.
Conversations conducted with Claude through Caddy are processed by Anthropic under the terms of the Anthropic plan the system runs on: your own Claude subscription for the Caddy install, or your own Anthropic Enterprise or Teams plan for ACE engagements. Anthropic's applicable terms govern the handling of that conversational data.
05Data Storage and Security
Information you provide to us is stored on our service providers' systems. We use industry-standard practices to protect your information. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
06Cookies
Our website uses cookies for essential functionality, security, and aggregated analytics. Specifically:
- First-party functional cookies for session continuity and form prefill (e.g., remembering your name and email between our forms and the booking page).
- Google Analytics 4 first-party cookies (
_ga,_ga_<property>) to measure traffic patterns and aggregated user behavior in a privacy-respectful way. - Vercel performance cookies for site reliability and load-time monitoring.
- HighLevel (LeadConnector) chat widget cookies. The chat box on our site is provided by HighLevel and may set its own cookies to keep your chat session going. It is a support and messaging widget, not advertising or retargeting.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or behavioral tracking for ad personalization. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site functionality (such as form prefill) may be limited as a result.
07Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hi@meetcaddy.com. We will respond within thirty days of receiving your request.
08Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of eighteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.
09Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to active customers by email.
