The Audit

What happens in the room. We want to see the work, not hear about it.

Most AI engagements start with weeks of discovery before anyone draws a plan. We do it in a few hours with the people who actually run the work: one meeting or two, as a group or in pods by department. It's light on your side, because we do the heavy lifting.

  • The brain dump. Before we sit down, your team tells us what eats their week. A short questionnaire, fifteen to thirty minutes, rough numbers welcome.
  • The walk-through. Your department heads show us the work on screen, step by step. We're looking at what's manual, what's automated, how often it happens, and whether ten steps can become eight.
  • The map. We sort every process: where AI fits, where automation fits, and where a human mind has to stay. There might be 30 things we could do in your business. The audit finds all 30. Then we start with the five that matter most.
  • The roadmap. Each opportunity gets a shape: what the system does, what it connects to, what it needs from you, and what to build first. Ranked, in plain language, in writing.

Everything is recorded. That recording is not a souvenir. It is what the report is written from.

The Report

A report that heard the whole conversation. Then tells you what to build first.

The report is written from the audit, so it knows your business the way we do after the call: the people, the tools, the exceptions, the things you said out loud that never made it into a document.

It ranks every build we found by what it returns: enterprise value, headcount you don't have to add, more output from the people you already have. It lists each deliverable in priority order with what that system needs from you, tells you which software to keep and which to replace, and gives a straight answer on what can and cannot be done with the systems you run today. The written scope closes it: a path for every system, so nothing on the list is left as a dead end.

That report becomes the scope, so we tackle it in one go instead of tacking things on later. You pick what we build from the list, everything or part of it, and the audit rolls into your engagement.

Read a sample report. The business in it is made up; the software facts are real.

Who It Fits

Built for owners who want the plan before they pay for the build.

The audit fits a business doing $500K or more a year that wants a real map of its Operator Tax before it commits to a build. You get our engineers for the audit and a report you keep whether or not you go further.

When you want that build done, the ACE program is the team that builds it all for you, trains your people, and hands you the keys. The audit is the first step of it, and it rolls into ACE when you step up within thirty days.

Doing under $2 million a year? Pair the audit with our AI engineer placement program, and the Caddy-approved AI engineer we place in your business starts trained on your roadmap, knowing exactly what to execute and how.

FAQ

The audit, asked and answered.

Who is the audit for?

Owners of businesses doing $500K or more a year who want every opportunity in the operation mapped and ranked before anything gets built. It is also the first step of every ACE engagement; ACE itself is built for businesses doing more than $2 million a year.

How long does it take?

A few hours of your team's time, across one meeting or two. We work around your schedule, and we go until the map is real, not until a clock runs out.

Who should be in the room?

The owner and the head of every department the plan will touch. We can meet as one group or break into pods by department, whichever fits your week.

What do I need before we start?

A short intake form, about fifteen to thirty minutes, on your systems, your team and how work flows. Rough numbers are fine, and so is "not sure".

What happens after the audit?

The report arrives in writing: the ranked roadmap, the deliverable list in priority order, and the written scope. You pick what we build from it, and the audit rolls into that engagement. If you stop at the report, it is yours to keep.

Does the audit count toward ACE?

Yes. The audit rolls into an ACE engagement when you step up within thirty days of your audit.
